Clearinghouse Basket Raffle Supports Local Residents in Need

The organization is seeking donations for the upcoming event, which runs July 1 - August 1.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Clearinghouse Food Pantry is a growing center of services that supports those in our community with food insecurities.

Some of the services offered include:

  • Providing commodities monthly for two locations and more in an emergency
  • Sacks of Snacks (bags of food for the weekend) are provided to 340 Dearborn County school children
  • Providing food to local high schools, Dearborn Adult Center, Lawrenceburg Community Center, Heart House and YES Home
  • Providing food for children's summer meal programs
  • Senior Boxes through the CSFP Program to provide 80 boxes of food packed with nutritious food for clients
  • Distribution of food to over 180 families through the Mobile Pantry

With cost-of-living increases and job insecurities, the Clearinghouse has been inundated with families who find themselves for the first time, needing to request Clearinghouse services. With the significant increases in services, the Clearinghouse has a greater need for fundraising efforts.

You can help by partnering with the Clearinghouse for their Basket Raffle, which will be held July 1 to August 1 at the Lawrenceburg Community Center.

The winners will be drawn on August 1 at 2:00 p.m.

As part of the efforts, the Clearinghouse is seeking donations for the Basket Raffle. To donate items or gift certificates, email Karry@dearbornclearinghouse.com.
