SCAI Names Individual, Team Academic All-State Teams

EC, Milan, Rising Sun and JCD were represented.

INDIANAPOLIS - The Softball Coaches Association of Indiana has released their Individual and Team Academic All-State Teams for the 2026 season.

Local schools represented include East Central, Milan, Rising Sun, and Jac-Cen-Del.

Individual Academic All-State

Paige Hotze, East Central
Ryan Works, Rising Sun

Individual Academic All-State Honorable Mention

Rose Yunger, East Central
Emma Voss, Milan
Lily Courtney, Rising Sun

To qualify for Academic All-State, athletes must be a senior participating in softball, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, a minimum SAT score of 1100 or a minimum ACT composite score of 24.

Team Academic All-State

Jac-Cen-Del (4.07 GPA, 3rd overall)
Milan (3.73)
