MINNEAPOLIS - Kendra Franklin, Maria Segrist, Ted Segrist, and Charlie Wilson represented Special Olympics Indiana - Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
Playing for Team Indiana's Unified Soccer Team, Charlie Wilson helped propel the team to a Gold Medal. Wilson made four saves in the championship game as Team Indiana defeated the District of Columbia by a score of 1-0.
Kendra Franklin competed in the 4x50 Medley Relay, helping her team earn Silver.
Maria Segrist earned the Bronze Medal in her Female Singles Bowling Division. Maria also competed with her brother, Ted, in the Mixed Doubles Bowling Competition, earning Silver with a score of 768.
