(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Corbin Walston is not ready to hang up his singlet.

The Lawrenceburg High School wrestling star this week committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne.

Walston is a two-time EIAC champion at 132 and 152 pounds, respectively. He captured the EIAC championship at 152 pounds as a senior, riding that momentum into the postseason - where he was crowned sectional and regional champion.

Walston would make a run all the way to the state finals, where he was defeated in the opening round by eventual state champions Samuel Goin (Crown Point).

The Tigers' star finished his senior season with a record of 44-3.

Indiana Tech's wrestling team went 10-2 this past season, winning the WHAC Tournament, and placing fourth at the NAIA National Championship.
