LHS Swimming Announces Partnership with Cincinnati Marlins

The partnership will expand swimming opportunities in the community.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation and Lawrenceburg High School Swimming is partnering with the Cincinnati Marlins, a USA Swimming Silver Medal club. 

The partnership is designed to provide enhanced coaching and training opportunities for student-athletes while expanding access to competitive swimming throughout the Lawrenceburg community. 

"This partnership represents an exciting opportunity for our swimmers and for the entire Lawrenceburg community," said Ryan Knigga, LHS Athletic Director. "By working with the Cincinnati Marlins, we can provide our student athletes with additional coaching and training, while creating more opportunities for young swimmers to discover and enjoy the sport." 

The collaboration is intended to strengthen the development of swimmers at all levels. 

"We are excited to partner with Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation and Lawrenceburg High School to help create more opportunities for swimmers in the community," said Brandon Voorhies, Marlins Head Coach and CEO. "Our goal is to support athletes of all backgrounds and help them reach their potential both in and out of the pool." 

The Cincinnati Marlins were recognized as a Silver Club of Excellence during the 2025-26 season. Silver status is awarded to clubs ranking between 21-100 in the nation. 

"This is about more than just swimming faster," said Dean Fox, LHS Head Coach. "It's about giving young athletes access to great coaching, positive mentors, and opportunities to challenge themselves. We're thrilled about what this partnership can mean for Lawrenceburg swimmers and families."
