(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Highpoint Health is joining with Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine to once again offer sports physicals for students who will be entering grades 6 through 12 this fall.  The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Highpoint Health, 600 Wilson Creek Road, Lawrenceburg.

Registration for the event will take place in the main lobby of Highpoint Health, with physicals performed upstairs in the second floor conference area.

Students receiving a physical will pass through various stations including height and weight; vision; ear, nose and throat; blood pressure and heart rate; and spine and extremities.  Those participating are requested to wear shorts to the event and each student athlete will be presented a complimentary T-shirt.

The cost of the physical is $20 per person with $10 for each student being donated back to the athletic department of their respective school.  Cash, major credit and debit cards, and personal checks made payable to Highpoint Health will be accepted.

Sports physicals are open to all appropriate student athletes, regardless of school affiliation.  Last year, more than 300 students from Southeastern Indiana received physicals at the event.
