Harrison Girls Basketball Wins District Title, Will Compete at Regional Tuesday

The Lady Wildcats (23-1) will play Toledo Start this evening.

(Harrison, Oh.) - The Harrison Lady Wildcats are off to the Regional round on Tuesday evening. 

Harrison won the OHSAA D2 District Championship advanced to the Sweet 16 on Saturday after a 53-32 win over Stebbins. They previously defeated Kings by a score of 52-31 in the first round of the postseason. 

In the District Championship Game against Stebbins, the Wildcats were led by Alli Robertson with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Abby Smith added 18 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. 

Harrison (23-1) will take on Toledo Start in the D2 Region 8 Semifinals on Tuesday at Princeton High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The winner will play Cincinnati St. Ursula Academy or Winton Woods for the D2 Region 8 Championship on Saturday at Princeton High School starting at 2:00 p.m.

The winner of Region 8 will advance to the D2 State Semifinals on March 9. The State Championship will follow on March 14.
