Bode, Stang Among Local Players Earning All-State Honors

The Softball Coaches Association of Indiana has released their 2025 All-State Teams.

INDIANAPOLIS - Seven area high school softball stars have earned All-State honors. 

The Softball Coaches Association of Indiana recently released their 2025 All-State Teams, which were divided between Class 4A and 3A and Class 2A and A. 

Milan junior Kynadee Bode was named to the SCAI 2A/A First Team. The Indians' star hit .674 with 10 home runs, 54 runs, and 58 RBI. She also went 19-8 in the pitching circle with a 2.74 ERA and 214 strikeouts in 155.2 innings pitched. 

Five players from the EIAC and one player from Madison earned All-State honors. 

Making First Team 4A/3A is Connersville senior Carmen Ruble. She hit .454 with 27 RBI and 35 runs. 

Franklin County senior Brooke Stang earned 4A/3A Second Team honors. The Illinois commit hit .494 with five home runs, 13 doubles, 28 RBI and 40 runs scored. 

Greensburg junior Harper Adams joined Stang on the Second Team. She went 10-1 in the pitching circle with a 0.68 ERA and 155 strikeouts, all of which led the EIAC. 

Batesville sophomore Caitlyn Fox, Madison senior Ava Armbrecht and Connersville senior Bre Brock made 4A/3A Third Team. 

Fox hit .556 this season, scoring 27 runs. 

Brock was a .462 hitter this spring with a home run, 13 doubles, 30 RBI and 36 runs scored. 

Stats for Armbrecht were unavailable.
