Batesville Win EIAC Title on 5th Score Tiebreaker; L'Burg's Williamson is Medalist

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Four teams were separated by just a handful of strokes at the EIAC Boys Golf Conference Championship.

The event was held on Saturday at Hidden Valley Golf Club in Lawrenceburg.

Batesville took home the EIAC Championship with a low score of 358. The Bulldogs won a 5th score tiebreak with East Central.

  • Results: Batesville 358, East Central 358, Lawrenceburg 359, Greensburg 361, Connersville 371, Franklin County 374, Rushville 418, South Dearborn 455

Batesville’s top performer was Ian Hixson with an 87. Leo Moody and Jon Moody also made the All-Conference Team with scores of 87 and 91, respectively. Jackson Day and Landon Raver rounded out the round with a 93 and 98.

The EIAC medalist is Cameron Williamson. The Tigers’ star shot a low round 79 (+7) in some difficult conditions. His teammate Will Tufts placed 9th in the conference with an 88.
