Batesville Sophomore Takes First Place at New Albany Invitational

(Batesville, Ind.) - Stella Maple has been on fire to start the 2026 High School Girls Golf season.

The Batesville High School sophomore took first place at the New Albany Invitational at Valley View Golf Club on Saturday, carding a 70 (-1). Maple has had two second place finishes in previous outings.

Overall, Batesville placed fourth out of 16 teams.
