The second of five Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit events

(St. Leon, Ind.) - The second of five Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit events took place on Saturday in St. Leon.
A total of 119 participants registered for the Trojan Trot 5K to support East Central Cross Country.
Garrett Ardis, 25, of Lawrenceburg, took first place with a time of 16:38. Rylynn Head, 16, of Lawrenceburg, placed second (17:19) followed by Quinton Walker, 17, of Greensburg (17:23).
The top female performer was Alisha Detmer. The 22-year-old from Patriot won her second consecutive race with a time of 17:53, which was good for sixth overall.
Karen Berndt, 42, of West Chester, Ohio, was second among female competitors (13th overall) with a time of 18:57. Maria Scholle, 14, of Greensburg, placed third in the female division and 21st overall with a time of 20:31.
The next SIRC event is the Tiger Trail 5K in Lawrenceburg on Saturday, July 18.
