Blame it on the paperwork.
(Hebron, Ky.) – Dozens of local travelers are taking European vacations after an uncomfortable experience with a low-fare airline.
Passengers scheduled to leave Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport for Iceland on WOW Air this week were delayed 27 hours because of a paperwork mishap, reports The Enquirer.
Nearly 200 people were left on the bridge to the plane without air conditioning or electricity until airport officials intervened and made sure food and hotel vouchers were offered.
Representatives from WOW Air also offered “their most sincere apologies.”
WOW Air began low-cost service from CVG to Iceland and Europe last month. The service connects will other low-cost flights to cities such as Paris and Dublin.
