Christa Comer, 47, was arrested and charged in Ripley County on October 7 with two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary. Indiana State Police investigators say Comer used her work email at a Batesville hospital to provide information to Shannon Fledderman on places to get pain medication. Fledderman, 37, of Batesville, was charged with Burglary and Theft in Dearborn County on May 2 after allegedly burglarizing a home on Amm Road in Sunman. Fledderman also has charges pending in Ripley and Decatur counties. During an interview conducted by ISP investigators on February 10, Fledderman allegedly told police she should not be the only one in trouble, and stated Comer was involved too. According to a probable cause affidavit, investigators say Comer provided Fledderman with two addresses where she could obtain pain medication, one on the 7000 block of E. County Road in Sunman, and the other on Belmont Place E. in Batesville. Comer is currently booked in Ripley County Jail on $2,055 bond.
