(West Chester, Oh.) - Local bands are being offered the chance to earn a spot on the VOA Country Music Fest stage.
Today, the VOA Country Music Fest announced its inaugural Battle of the Bands.
Local bands will compete for the chance to play at the 2025 VOA Country Music Fest, which runs August 7-10 at the VOA Metro Park in West Chester, Ohio.
There will be four qualifying rounds, where bands can compete to win a spot in the finals. At each qualifier, four selected bands will be assigned to each qualifier round.
Each band will have 35 minutes to play their set, with additional 10 minutes for setup and 10 minutes for tear down. Judging will be 35 percent fan vote and 65 percent judges vote.
All battle rounds will take place at Lori's Roadhouse, 4924 Union Centre Pavilion in West Chester.
The battle schedule is as follows:
- March 1 - Qualifying Round 1
- March 29 - Qualifying Round 2
- April 19 - Qualifying Round 3
- May 17 - Qualifying Round 4
- June 7 - The Finals
