Traditional Field Day was cancelled, but that did not stop SLSD from keeping the tradition alive.
(Harrison, Oh.) – Each year, the Southwest Local School District looks forward to Field Days.
The event is an opportunity for students to celebrate their accomplishment of advancing to the next grade with fun, outdoor activities with friends and classmates.
Unfortunately, elementary Field Days were cancelled this year due to COVID-19. But that did not stop the school district from keeping the tradition alive.
Physical education teachers coordinated “Family Field Day” activities for students to enjoy at home.
A video was released by the school district on Wednesday highlighting some of the activities students were able to enjoy at home or in their neighborhood.
