Vevay Wins Contest for Best Midwestern Small Town

(Vevay, Ind.) – Vevay is number one.

The small town in Switzerland County was recently named the winner of USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Award for Best Midwestern Small Town.

Vevay beat out the likes of Dyersville, Iowa (home of the Field of Dreams), and Sandusky, Ohio (home of Cedar Point) for the top spot.

Each year, USA Today asks their readers to pick the 10Best in several categories covering food, lodging, destinations, travel gear, things to do and more.

Vevay’s excerpt highlighted wine producers, the annual Swiss Wine Festival and historic buildings such as the Benjamin Schenck Mansion.
