(Ripley County, Ind.) – A semi-truck driver was injured in a single vehicle accident on Saturday.
Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on U.S. 50 just east of Elrod around 4:47 p.m., where Robert Kappes lost control of his semi and landed in a field on its side.
Kappes, 57, of Versailles, was airlifted to UC Medical Center with a head injury.
His status is unknown currently.
