Original story published Monday, April 4 at 3:24 p.m.: (Dillsboro, Ind.) – Dillsboro Utilities is issuing a Water Boil Advisory for some customers. Crews will be replacing a defective fire hydrant at the corner of Front Street and North Street on Monday. Some Dillsboro residents will have their water shut off at approximately 4:30 p.m. Due to the nature of the work, a Water Boil Advisory will be in effect as a precautionary measure for Dillsboro Water customers from Monday evening until further notice. Customers should boil their drinking and cooking water for five minutes before use, and should conserve water for basic household and personal needs.
