Update published Thursday, January 12 at 7:22 a.m.: Adam Jones has shared a video of himself on his Instragram account in which he criticizes media for the attention given to a situation he was allegedly involved in at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg early Wednesday morning. The video - which contains strong language from Jones - can be viewed at http://instagram.com/p/y-cJvCkjqB/. Lawrenceburg Police have not released further information on the issue that prompted a press release from the department Wednesday. Jones told WLWT-TV he complied when asked to leave the riverboat casino because he was using "dip", or smokeless tobacco. No arrests were made and no charges have been filed. Original story published Wednesday, January 11 at 5:27 p.m.: (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Cincinnati Bengals player Adam "Pacman" Jones is under investigation for an unspecified incident that happened early Wednesday morning at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg. According to WLWT-TV, Lawrenceburg Police acknowledge that there was an issue at the casino involving Jones, a cornerback for the NFL team. Jones spoke to the television station. "I was at the Lawrenceburg casino (Tuesday) night, and they asked me to leave because I had dip. There wasn’t an arrest because there was no crime committed, and I left on my own," Jones told WLWT. Jones was never arrested or booked into the Dearborn County jail, according to jail booking records. The situation remains under investigation by the Lawrenceburg Police Department. We'll share more information as it becomes available. The 8th year player out of West Virginia University recorded 63 tackles and three interceptions for the Bengals in the 2014 season.
