No injuries were reported.

(Madison, IN) - The historic Trinity United Methodist Church caught fire Monday evening, the fire was called in just a little after five. A golf cart parked outside of the church has been determined as the start of the fire. Investigators have not determined what caused the initial golf cart fire.

The 150-year-old church has gone through many renovations and restoration over the years. Now, the church is facing major damage. The roof collapsed and part of the building is severely damaged. At this point, it's unclear whether it's a total loss.

Firefighters are still on the scene mopping up hotspots. No injuries were reported.
