Train vs. Vehicle Crash Cleared in Downtown Lawrenceburg

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A Ford Mustang was struck by a train on Wednesday afternoon in downtown Lawrenceburg. 

According to Dearborn County Dispatch, the collision took place at Mary and William Street intersection around 2:15 p.m.

The train ended up pushing the vehicle from approximately the Dearborn County Courthouse to the Dearborn County Jail. 

The driver of the vehicle was reportedly evaluated at the scene. The incident has since been cleared. Dispatch reports that there is a lot of glass around the Mary and William street intersection. The fire department is working to clear debris from the area. 

No further information has been provided at this time.
