Town of Milan Warn Residents of Ongoing Email Scam

The email in question references homeowner deadline.

(Milan, Ind.) – Milan residents are being warned of an email scam.

The Town of Milan announced Thursday that residents should not open or review any attachments referencing “Milan City Department” or “Homeowner Deadline”.

The email in question will state that it is from Milan City Department regarding homeowner deadline and asks you to review your eligibility.

“The Town of Milan is not sending out emails to Milan residents,” reads a statement from town officials.
