Town Of Dillsboro To Celebrate Its History With Two-Day Event

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – Dillsboro will celebrate its history with a two-day event this weekend.

The annual Dillsboro Heritage Festival will take place at various locations throughout Dillsboro on Saturday, September 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Sports From Our Past.” Exhibits featuring historic sports memorabilia and other unique items from the town’s past will be open in the festival’s Pop-Up Museum.

The Heritage Festival will also include a Veteran’s Walk at Dillsboro Community Park, historic virtual tours of the community, a classic car show, special historic demos and displays, a vintage baseball game, music by the Rigby’s, scavenger hunt, fried chicken dinner and more.
