Tidal Wave Auto Spa Donates Charity Day Funds to Special Olympics Indiana

The car wash in Lawrenceburg raised over $1,100 during their Charity Day event.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Tidal Wave Auto Spa hosted their 16th annual Charity Day last Friday.

Nationally, the company raised a record-breaking $685,142, all of which is being donated entirely to charitable and non-profit organizations.

The Tidal Wave Auto Spa on U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg partnered with Special Olympics Indiana – Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties for this year’s event, raising $1,141.95 through their daily wash proceeds and on-site donations.

These funds will be donated directly to Special Olympics Indiana to aide in their continued efforts to provide year-round sports training and athletic competitions in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from Tidal Wave Auto Spa and their customers during this year’s Charity Day event. These funds will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our athletes, providing them with opportunities to compete, grow, and shine both on and off the playing field. Partnerships like this allow us to continue our mission of empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential through sports, and we are proud to have Tidal Wave Auto Spa as a partner in our community,” stated Greg Townsend, Program Coordinator of Special Olympics Indiana – Ripley Ohio Dearborn Counties.
