Ohio Department of Education Releases 2025-26 Report Cards

See how Southwest Local and Three Rivers school districts fared.

COLUMBUS - The Ohio Department of Education has released Report Cards for the 2025-26 school year. 

Ohio School Report Cards provide valuable information about school performance to parents, caregivers, community members, educators, and policymakers. They help identify areas for improvement and celebrate achievements.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce uses data reported by districts and schools to analyze performance in several categories. These data are used to assess schools and districts in the six report card components: Achievement, Progress, Early Literacy, Gap Closing, Graduation, and College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness. All six components receive star ratings between 1 and 5, based on performance.

Locally, Three Rivers School District received a 4.5 star rating out of 5. That puts the school district in the Top 25 percent statewide. Only 10 percent of the 607 school districts scored better than Three Rivers with a five-star rating. 

Out of 22 districts in Hamilton County, Three Rivers placed 8th. The school district earned high marks in graduation, college, career and military readiness, achievement, progress and gap closing. 

"These results are a reflection of the commitment of our students, the expertise of our teachers, and the support of our families and entire school community. We are proud of where we are—and even more excited about where we’re going," reads a statement from Three Rivers School District. 

Southwest Local School District earned a four-star rating. The school district earned five stars for gap closing and college, career, and military readiness. Southwest Schools also received high marks for achievement and graduation.
