(Batesville, Ind.) - Batesville Intermediate School Principal Dana Cassidy is stepping down.
The school corporation announced this week that Cassidy will be stepping away from her position at the end of 2026 to accept a role in nonprofit leadership.
In a message to staff and school families, she shared that serving at BIS was one of her greatest joys, and she is grateful that this new opportunity will still allow her to serve local families—just in a different capacity.
Cassidy was named the IASP District 10 Elementary Principal of the Year in 2024.
