Three Arrested For Drug Dealing In Batesville

(Batesville, Ind.) - Drug dealers are under arrest in southeast Indiana.

 

A joint investigation by Batesville Police and Indiana State Police culminated with three arrests on Wednesday.

 

Matthew Werner, 22, of Batesville, is charged with three counts of Dealing a Narcotic Drug. One count is a Class A felony and the two others are Class B felonies.

 

Christopher Barnett, 28, of Sunman is accused of one count of Dealing in a Narcotic Drug (Class B felony).

 

James Meeks, 37, of Oldenburg, is accused of Dealing in a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Class B felony).

 

Werner and Barnett are in jail in Ripley County. Meeks is held in Franklin County.
