(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Southeast Indiana state lawmakers will be in Lawrenceburg in June to review the 2025 state legislative session and discuss the impacts it will have on local businesses and communities.

The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Post-Legislative Luncheon presented by Duke Energy at the Ivy Tech Riverfront Campus in Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, June 4th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with state legislators about what they accomplished this year, how it will impact local business leaders and their plans for future sessions and summer work groups. State Representative Garrett Bascom and State Senator Randy Maxwell will be in attendance.

“The Chamber plays a critical role in connecting local leaders and businesses to key decision makers at all levels of government,” said Kylie Foster, government and community relations manager for Duke Energy. “We’re happy to support an event where the community can hear from our state legislators and learn about their work in the recent legislative session.”

The event is free and open to the public thanks to the support of Duke Energy. Lunch will be provided by Grand Buffet courtesy of Build Pro Warehouse. In order to attend you MUST REGISTER in advance.

Those planning to attend the event are asked to register at the Dearborn County Chamber website (dearborncountychamber.org) or call 812-537-0814. You can also reserve your spot by emailing Chamber President Eric Kranz (ekranz@dearborncountychamber.org)
