The Dearborn County Government Center in Lawrenceburg will reopen Monday afternoon after a threat was investigated.

Sheriff Shane McHenry says a threat against the courthouse was communicated at around 10:55 a.m. The threat prompted an immediate evacuation of the building where about 150 people work.

Bomb sniffing dogs from the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport and the Creation Museum came to the government center and began to sweep the building and others nearby.

"We checked all the buildings and at this point we feel there is no threat," said McHenry.

No further information is being released at this time, the sheriff said.
