(Sunman, Ind.) - In December, Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools announced Cindy Stonehill as interim principal at Sunman Elementary School.
The interim label was removed on Thursday as Stonehill was officially appointed as principal of Sunman Elementary School, following the April 10 School Board Meeting.
Stonehill has plenty of experience within the school corporation. She previously served as principal and also held a district-level administrative role before entering retirement. She stepped back in as interim principal after Pamela Dixon's resignation last year.
“We are excited to welcome Mrs. Stonehill back as Principal,” said Superintendent Andrew Jackson. “Her experience, leadership, and strong ties to the Sunman community make her an excellent choice to continue the positive momentum at Sunman Elementary.”
Mrs. Stonehill expressed her gratitude, stating, “Thank you for the opportunity to continue to serve the Sunman Community”
