The Sunman Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards dinner on November 9.

(Sunman, Ind.) – Some of Sunman’s best individuals and organizations were honored at the Sunman Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards dinner.
The event was hosted at the Sunman American Legion Post 337 on Friday, November 9.
Janice Hosmer was awarded Citizen of the Year. Hosmer is the president of the Sunman Community Park Board and has been a leader in a number of improvements made at the park in recent years.
Teacher of the Year went to Heather Lunsford. Heather is a fifth grade teacher at Sunman Elementary School.
Business of the Year was awarded to Baylor Trucking. Founded in 1946 by World War II veteran Chester Baylor, the locally-headquartered logistics company today has more than 250 trucks and operates in 48 states.
Bergman Bus Service received the Bus Driver of the Year award.
“We are extremely grateful to all of those who came out and supported us in the community at our Chamber dinner. We are especially honored to be able to recognize these wonderful deserving winners this year,” said Natasha Bischoff, the president of the Sunman Area Chamber of Commerce.
