Oldenburg Star Records 1,000th Career Kill

(Oldenburg, Ind.) - Oldenburg Academy volleyball played host to South Ripley on Monday night. 

South Ripley won the match three sets to two (25-16, 25-21, 16-25, 23-25, 15-11), but Oldenburg Academy senior Ali Nobbe was celebrated post-match for passing a big career milestone. 

Nobbe recorded her 1,000th career kill. 

Coming into Monday's match, Nobbe had a team high 219 kills in 13 matches. Nobbe also leads the Twisters in digs (160) and is among the team leaders in aces and blocks. 

Oldenburg Academy is 8-5 this season. They will host Jac-Cen-Del (8-8) on Tuesday.
