(Brookville, Ind.) - A portion of State Road 1 will soon closed in Franklin County for a slide correction project.
The closure will begin on or after Monday, March 10 approximately a half mile north of State Road 101 and is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows S.R. 101 to S.R. 44 to S.R. 1.
This project is part of a $1.2 million contract awarded to Paul H. Rohe in December 2024.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
