South Dearborn Earns Grand Champion at East Central Invitational

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Area high school marching bands converged in St. Leon on Saturday for the East Central Marching Band Invitational.

It was the South Dearborn Marching Knights earning the Grand Champion trophy with the highest score of any band in the competition.

The Marching Knights also brought home awards for Best Music, Best Marching, Best General Effect, Best Percussion and Best Guard.

East Central, Batesville, Rising Sun, Switzerland County, and Shawe Memorial also competed at the event.
