(Petersburg, Ky.) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an active gas main installation project on a portion of Petersburg Road (KY 20) in Boone County that will require intermittent single lane closures.
Work is taking place between the intersection of Bullittsville Road/Petersburg Road/Graves Road (mile point 14.6) and Peel Road (mile point 13.8), a distance of 0.8 miles.
A single lane closure will be utilized as needed during daytime working hours, with flaggers on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays while traveling in the area.
Weather permitting, this permit project is expected to be completed by late August. If additional time is needed, KYTC will provide an updated completion date on our District 6 Roadshow.
