Signing Day: EC Students Enlist in Military, Join Workforce

A special CTE Signing Day was held on Tuesday.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Three East Central High School students have signed letters of intent, but not to play sports.

Jacob Doll, Avery Michael Meyer, and Brayden Eicher took part in a special CTE Signing Day on Tuesday, each choosing different career paths.

For Doll, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. His aspiration is to become a leader in one of the marine bands.

Avery Meyer “just wants to work.” That is why he accepted a full-time position with Northbend Pattern Works upon graduation.

Finally, Eiacher will begin a co-op with Robert Jones Plumbing this summer. He is excited to expand his knowledge about plumbing and welding.
