The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set for November 7

(Batesville, Ind.) - The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association (SEIMA) has recognized five winners of their SEIMA Project and announced 10 new members to the Southeastern Indiana Musicians Hall of Fame.
The SEIMA PROJECT (Inspiring Local Music) is a friendly competition that gives young musicians, ages 14 to 19, a helping hand to achieve their dreams and goals. Participants from five local counties show off their instrumental or vocal abilities for cash prizes.
This year, SEIMA selected two grand prize winners. Lane Deaton and Alysun Simon each received $1,000 to pursue their music careers. Savannah Dement, Aaron Lewis, and Sydney Gilland receiving $350 each for finishing as finalists in the competition.
In addition, SEIMA has announced 10 new members to their Hall of Fame.
Melissa Singer Reed, Bill ‘Gabby’ Gabbard, Kim Smith, Jimmy Cunningham, Brad Bentle, Jeannie Herman, Leon Enneking, Micky Evans, Rob Workman, and Andy Jackson will be inducted on Saturday, November 7 at the Gibson Theatre in Batesville.
SEIMA project winners will perform at the ceremony. Brady Seals will also perform.
