It was another successful season for the Batesville-based bakery.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Cherry Thing-a-Ling season has come to an end.
Schmidt Bakery in Batesville announced that they sold 239,364 fritters between February 12-16. That equates to 19,947 dozen.
The Cherry Thing-a-Ling record was set in 2024 when 254,880 thing-a-lings were sold.
Schmidt Bakery says they have some frozen cherry thing-a-lings left for those who need a fixing.
