Rising Sun Man Dies In SR 156 Crash

(Switzerland County, Ind.) – A man died following a crash on State Road 156 in Switzerland County Wednesday, July 4.

Justin N. Vest, of Rising Sun, was driving on SR 156 in Posey Township at about 3:00 a.m.

Sheriff’s deputies say the 22-year-old crashed about three miles east of Patriot and was ejected from his vehicle.

The county coroner pronounced Vest dead at the scene of the single vehicle accident.

That crash is still under investigation by the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office. Patriot Fire Department, Posey Fire Department, and Switzerland County EMS assisted at the scene.
