The Ripley County Health Department car seat inspection events will happen on September 23 and 29.

(Versailles, Ind.) - The Ripley County Health Department is offering two opportunities for local families needing car seats and/or inspections throughout the month of September.
On September 23 and 29, families can have their car seats inspected by a certified child passenger safety technician, as many as 85 percent of car seats are misused.
Car seats will be provided by appointment only. The caregiver, child, and car must be present to receive a car seat. Make an appointment by contacting Lexi Bushhorn at (812) 689-5751 or lbushhorn@ripleycounty.com.
The event will be held at the Ripley County Health Department, 102 W 1st N St, Versailles, and will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or emergency.
