(Bright, Ind.) – Three people escaped a burning home near Bright Sunday night.
A fire broke out at the home on the 23000 block of State Line Road at around 9:30 p.m., according to Bright Fire & EMS Captain Kendall Eberhart. When the first fire crews arrived, flames were already showing on the outside of the house.
The residents were home at the time, but got out safely. Their home, however, was badly damaged and may end up being declared a complete loss, said Eberhart.
A cause of the blaze remains under investigation Monday.
Firefighters from Bright, Greendale, and Harrison were on the scene until about midnight.
