Florence Police quickly apprehended a bank robber Tuesday.

(Florence, Ky.) - A bank robbery suspect was taken into custody just minutes after a hold-up at the Fifth Third Bank on Kentucky 18 in Florence.
Police say Aaron Arnsperger, 30, of Covington, walked into the bank about 12:30 Tuesday afternoon and passed a teller a note stating “Need $50s & $100s, Thank You.”
The bank teller asked the Arnsperger if he was wishing to make a withdrawal or exchange money. He allegedly replied “No, I don’t have any family, I can’t get a loan, I need money so I’m stealing it.”
The teller gave the man cash and he fled the bank on foot.
Officers found a man wearing clothing matching the description of the bank robber in the parking lot of the nearby Walmart. Arnsperger had the stolen cash in his pocket, police say.
He is charged with Robbery in the Second Degree and is now in the Boone County Jail.
Florence Police say no weapon was displayed or threatened during the bank robbery.
