PG Gentrup Delivers Game Ball at FC Cincinnati Match

Gentrup was at the match representing Operation Ramp It Up

CINCINNATI - Inclement weather delayed the moment, but PG Gentrup had the honor of presenting the game ball at the FC Cincinnati match on Saturday night.

Gentrup was at TQL Stadium representing Operation Ramp It Up, a non-profit which builds ramps for those with mobility issues.

He currently serves as the SEI Coordinator for the organization and was asked to deliver the game ball by Founder Greg Schneider.

"Greg is a guy with a big heart," said Gentrup. "It was a neat feeling standing out there on the field in front of thousands of people. The people with FC Cincinnati were just terrific."

Schneider began building ramps for veterans in 2014. His mission is to provide mobility to military veterans, their family members, or ultimately anyone who may have a physical disability, by installing aluminum wheelchair ramps to their homes, when other traditional resources have been exhausted.

Gentrup has played a key role in ramp installations in southeast Indiana, completing installations in Greendale, Milan, Sunman, and East Enterprise, among other area cities and towns.

To date, Operation Ramp It up has installed over 300 ramps and recycled over 250 ramps in all 50 states.
