(Friendship, Ind.) - Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon.
The accident occurred in the area of 2000 East block of State Road 62 around 1:05 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a westbound van that had left the roadway and came to rest in a creek bed. A single occupant was able to escape the vehicle but could not scale the creek bank due to their injuries.
The driver was treated on the scene and transported to an area hospital for further treatment.
The name of the driver and their condition was not released.
