One Dead, One Injured In Mobile Home Fire In Burlington

The blaze was first reported around 4:30 Wednesday morning.

(Burlington, Ky.) – A mobile home fire claimed the life of one person and injured another Wednesday morning in Burlington.

Firefighters responded to the fire on the 9000 block of East Bend Road around 4:30, reports WCPO-9

Upon their arrival, the mobile home was completely engulfed in flames, which prevented firefighters from entering the home.

The blaze was contained by 6:30, but not before claiming the life of one and injuring another. The names of the victims and the condition of the survivor have not been released at this time.

A cause of the fire remains under investigation.
