One Airlifted from Two-Vehicle Accident Near Milan

(Milan, Ind.) – The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office has released information regarding a serious crash that occurred last week outside of Milan.

The two-vehicle crash took place February 28 in the area of CR 625 E and CR 200 N.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Donald Howington Jr., 41, of Milan, was traveling southbound on CR 625 E when for an unknown reason his vehicle struck the rear end of a vehicle operated by Brandy Howington, 36, of Milan.

Samantha Taylor, a passenger in Brandy Howington’s vehicle, was airlifted from the scene with an undisclosed injury. Brandy Howington was treated at Margaret Mary Health for unknown injuries.

Investigators say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
