(Oldenburg, Ind.) - Thanks to the generosity of the Mr. & Mrs. John Hillenbrand VISION Fund Committee, Oldenburg Academy has been awarded $2,000 to support the Emerge: Young Innovators Summit, specifically to help secure an engaging and inspiring keynote speaker for this annual event.

Launched in 2024 by OA educator Jason Walke, in partnership with Genesis: Pathways to Success, the Emerge: Young Innovators Summit provides business students from high schools across Southeast Indiana with a unique opportunity to experience a professional business conference focused on entrepreneurship.

The event features a regional panel discussion, interactive breakout sessions, and valuable networking opportunities, all designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders. The summit concludes with a keynote speaker who connects with students and motivates them to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

“I am excited to receive these funds as they will help us expand our area to search for a keynote speaker who will truly captivate, engage, and educate our students,” said Jason Walke, event founder and OA educator. “It is sure to be a great experience for those in attendance!”

Following its success in 2024, Emerge is set to grow in 2025, offering even more students the chance to learn from industry professionals and explore the world of entrepreneurship. Oldenburg Academy is grateful to the Mr. & Mrs. John Hillenbrand VISION Fund for supporting this mission and helping create an immersive and impactful experience for local high school students.
