Ohio Man Killed in U.S. 52 Crash

The accident took place Thursday morning just south of Brookville.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – An Ohio man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning.

Indiana State Police responded to the crash in the 9000 block of U.S. 52 around 8:00 a.m.

The initial investigation revealed that Elvis Faul, 42, of Winchester, was traveling eastbound, when for an unknown reason his vehicle crossed the center line into the path of a westbound semi pulling a trailer.

As a result of the collision, Faul sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing, and toxicology results are pending.

Indiana State Police say U.S. 52 was closed for approximately four hours for crash investigation and cleanup.
