(Wilmington, Oh.) – The National Weather Service in Wilmington has released rainfall reports from August 12-13.
Heavy rainfall impacted parts of the region during the early morning hours of August 12. For the NWS Wilmington area, several counties in eastern Indiana had the greatest impacts, with rainfall amounts of 4-8 inches.
Some locations in northern and western Wayne County, Indiana received close to 10 inches of rain. This rainfall led to significant rises on the Whitewater River, which continued into August 13.
