Boone County Sheriff's deputies say a threat was made against students and teachers at Jones Middle School in Florence.

(Florence, Ky.) – A Jones Middle School student has been arrested for allegedly making a threat towards another student.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, a 13-year-old male student told another student he was going to “shoot up the school with guns” and that his targets were going to be the “popular kids and teachers”.

He is lodged at the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Center.
